Indications

Rheumatism, rheumatoid arthritis, sciatica, lumber spondylosis and cervical spondylosis.
Introduction:
Topi MP is composed of three proven homeopathic medicines: Rhus toxicodendron (Poison Ivy), Symphytum officinale (Comfrey) and Ledum palustre (Wild Rosemary). They are widely used as medicinal plants in traditional medicine. They are also used in homeopathy because of their pain-killing, hyperemic and anti-inflammatory effect. The combination is effective for the external treatment of painful conditions of bones, joints and muscles such as rheumatic diseases, arthrosis and spondylosis.

Rheumatism is a chronic inflammatory disease of the joints with pain and stiffness. It is caused by an autoimmune disorder, but other factors such as infections, inheritance and hormones are involved. Non-articular rheumatism or fibromyalgia describes pain of muscles and fibrous tissues. often the finger joints are affected which develop a typical spindle shape. Topi MP can be used for the external treatment of painful conditions of the joints caused by rheumatic diseases.

Compression or disturbance of the sciatic nerve leads to typical pain along the back side of the buttocks and thighs to the feet. The most common cause for sciatica are prolapsed intervertebral discs. Therefore it is often combined with back pain. Topi MP relieves sciatic pain.

Osteoarthritis, inflammation, overuse and ageing are the main causes for degeneration of the intervertebral joints of the spine. This may result in painful spondylosis of the neck (cervical spondylosis) and the lower back (lumber spondylosis). Topi MP can be used on the affected areas of the spine.
Directions for use:
Dosage: Unless otherwise prescribed, Topi MP should be applied as follows:
The gel should be used 2 –3 times daily by applying a thin layer on the affected areas. The gel should be slightly massaged into the skin.

Any contact with open wounds and mucous membranes should be avoided carefully.
Side Effects:
In rare cases, applying of the Topi MP might cause allergic skin reactions. Because of the alcohol content, frequent applications may cause dryness and irritations of the skin.
Contra-indications:
Do not use this product in patients known to be hypersensitive to plants of the poison ivy (Sumac) family.
Interactions:
No interactions between Topi MP and other products are known.
